I am the owner of a 2015 Challenger Scat Pack (6-speed manual), love the car. However, over the last year the car has had 4 major manufacture issues ranging from rear axle shattering to engine failure to most recently replacing the transmission. Now around the July 4th week I noticed I was not able to catch 3rd gear so i took the car in to have it looked at and as it turned out it required a new transmission. This took until approximately the 23rd of July. Picked the car up drove it around and noticed that 1st thru 3rd gear i can hear a winding sound, so my plan was to take it back on Thursday of that week, however, that didn't happen due to work demands. Saturday, morning i decided to take it in. On the way to the dealership the car completely broke down. No clutch, couldn't get a gear, smoke coming from the engine compartment etc. I was LIVID. Tow truck took an hour and a half to get to me. Car is towed to the Dealership and talk to the adviser to let them know my issues. I leave word to have the Service Director to contact me as soon as possible.I received a call from the service director Mr. Whitehead who begins to explain that there was an apparent manufacture malfunction with the transmission previously installed. Of course this does not make me happy at all. This conversation between myself, Lenard Taylor and Mr. Whitehead was pretty heated. Fast forward about a week or so later i get a call from Lenard to inform me the "part" would not be in until Sept 3rd. Blown away at this point. Shift in entire scenario, I get a call from Lenard yesterday, August 13th informing me that my car is ready. So at this time i am very suspicious.Long story short i get to the dealership to pick my car up and Mr. Whitehead and his staff have expedited the shipment of my parts for the car and it arrived a few weeks early. I would like to give Mr Whitehead and Leonard and staff a big hats off for making a very ugly experience bearable and accommodating. I was immediately put in a loaner and made to feel as though i mattered by all the staff. I am not one to write these reviews but this situation is deserving praise. I was not happy with Dodge for a while but they have restored my belief in them. Thank you!
Had a great experience here! The service manager Tim Whitehead took care of my concerns personally. Staff is always friendly and the waiting area is clean and has refreshments. I know that getting your vehicle serviced is never "fun" but at Atlanta West, you can be confident that you'll be well taken care of. I definitely recommend.
